Avery Gipson chosen as winner of the 20th Series Tin Roof Acoustic Showdown!

On January 19, after making it through an initial round in October and the semi-finals in November, Avery joined some of Atlanta's finest singer-songwriters in the finals of the 20th Series  Acoustic Showdown at the Tin Roof Cantina in Atlanta. Avery was thrilled to end the night as the winner, receiving a $1,000 cash and substantial musical benefit prizes, including studio time and gigs and venues and festivals in and around Atlanta. She is excited about the opportunity to get into the studio and finally officially start recording her music. Stay tuned for upcoming news on her debut release this Spring!
