Two-time winner! Avery named a 2019 National Young Arts Merit Winner and Best Outstanding Jazz Soloist at FestivalDisney, both for the second time!

In late Fall of 2018, Avery was named a 2019 National Young Arts Merit Winner in the category for Voice: Singer-Songwriter. She first won this award in 2017 as a sophomore. She was also just named Best Outstanding Jazz Soloist at this year’s FestivalDisney in Orlando as part of Lovett’s Honors Ellington Jazz Ensemble. They attend every two years and she won this same award in 2017.
